Nitrile Glove
Non-sterile, ambidextrous, powder-free synthetic disposable glove.
Nitrile gloves have mechanical (especially puncture) and chemical resistance characteristics superior to Latex gloves while maintaining excellent elasticity, an aspect that is always highly appreciated in disposable gloves, as it confers sensitivity and ergonomics.
The disposable glove has passed the water and air penetration test against chemical risks and microorganisms according to the EN 374-2: 2019 standard.
The air penetration test was carried out at a pressure of 0.5 kPa.
Resistance can be different if the chemical is used in a mixture. It is important to verify that the gloves are suitable for the intended use, because the conditions in the workplace may differ from the type test depending on the temperature, abrasion and degradation.
When used, protective gloves may provide less resistance to the hazardous chemical due to changes in physical properties. Movement, rubbing, degradation caused by contact with chemicals, etc. can significantly reduce the actual span life.
For corrosive chemicals, degradation may be the most important factor to consider when selecting chemical resistant gloves. Before use, inspect the gloves for any defects or imperfections and use the gloves with dry and clean hands.
Since these are disposable products, frequent replacement is recommended to ensure that the optimum level of protection is maintained.
Nitrile gloves are therefore preferred for those jobs where greater mechanical and chemical resistance is required, as well as for those who are allergic to natural latex proteins.
Disposable Nitrile gloves are also suitable for contact with various types of food, and for this reason they are increasingly used for handling food products.
